Table-Tennis is played in many places as a hobby, and there are proffesional players all around the world that playes in a very high level.
There many kinds of rackets, rubbers and woods. For instance, there are rubbers that spins the ball very little, and you can't make some moves, like spins, because the ball won't go up, or it won't be spun enough to confuse the competitor.
The wood gives the power to the hit in addition to the rubber. There are many manufactures of woods, tables, rubbers and more, but the leaders are Butterfly, Stiga, Yasaka, and some other.
